About Me.
Hi, I'm Dave.
I'm the brain behind this little slice of internet oddness. This is my "Wargames" website, I have been playing around with different concepts for games for such a long time I thought I should really build a website and put them all in one place.
I used to sculpt by hand, but as I had an interesting in technology I started getting into sculpting with ZBrush, which then lead me to the 3D Printing and now instead of having to spend days sculpting with greenstuff, waiting for it to set and then casting it, I can use Zbrush or other CAD software, build a miniature and 3D Print it over a couple of hours.
Though I am a gamer as well so I do buy other companies models mainly to paint or use in games I play.
So what is this site? Well it is my Game site, with time you will have the ability to buy the games from me, but at the moment we just have bits I have designed for 3D print.
I have also put in some of my prints for making my life easier. Also Bases, yep I use bases as practise and once I have done 3 they become a set which I release and I always give away the bases.
Why?
Well all miniatures need base, I know a lot of us will take the black slot base and do things with it or we will buy resin bases from other manufactures and there are some amazing bases out there. It is just sometimes you need a base, and you just don't have time to wait, so I designed some 30mm bases that will just work and print quickly for gaming with and as I said every miniature needs a base and we don't wrap them up with models we just let you have these STL files for free.

So below you will find some of the most random things I have done over the years as well as what I am doing here. So please enjoy this wonderful abnormal portfolio of words and pictures as we see what Dave can do.
The design to the side was me working on the principle of quick and easy print on card scenery. Any inkjet printer and some pritt stick would give you a city of buildings very quickly.
Eventually I would manage to afford some CAD software that would allow me to work with actual measurements and I created quiet a few scenery pieces.
This would of course work with most FDM printers and I am presently working on some new versions of these as I type this.
I lost the original STL files when my Laptop went wrong and I lost the hard drive which they were stored on.
I spent 20 years working for Electric Tracks Ltd.
This was the UK's largest Slot Car center and goes by the trade name of Scalextric-racing
This was a biggy as I designed and built every track that has ever been on the site. I am also the website designer, though it is now on Squarespace and is also my build. Though I Was never happy with that version.
Though I did like the version you can see here which was the original build.
The Scarc Concept model.
I designed this originally years ago. Was bored in the office at Electric Tracks one summer holidays and started putting this together. It eventually made it's way to my home office and then vanished. I found it recently and decided the redesign it using the original model as a base and completing the original design idea for it. I also like to write. I have multiple blogs around the internet that I use to review, write, and just get things out of my head.

There is the BLOG attached to this site where I am trying to do things with, but I always seem to fall back to my original blogs.

Ramblings of an insane person.
